When the season is in full swing, volleyball players’ lives are hectic to say the least. It’s not uncommon for players to see as many as three games in a given weekend, sometimes two in one day. One of the major challenge coaches face is making sure players are pushed hard enough in practice to stay in shape without being run so hard that their performance suffers during the game.
